About Us

TH Residential Service is currently running one Children’s Home, our current service is focused on Emotional and Behaviour Difficulties of Children and Young People

We recognise that each child is unique with their own needs, desires and ambitions, and we are fully committed to supporting each child to achieve their dreams and ambitions. .

With our service, we are able to support children through into their adult life. We provide Children with extensive life skills to ensure they are well prepared to live independently as they transition into adult life.

We work in partnership with other professionals to provide therapeutic support to meet individual Child’s needs in line with their required needs.

The genesis of TH Residential Service is from the Domiciliary Care company, registered with the Care Quality Commission as TH Homely Care Services / T. How Homely Limited to provide care and support to Children, Adults and Older People in their own homes. This was founded by Tilly Howarth in November 2015.

Tilly’s background is Social Work, and she is driven by Quality of Care, Safeguarding, Choice, Dignity and Respect, but essentially, the joy of nurturing Children and seeing them thrive, to become responsible adults.

In late 2019, Tilly made the ultimate decision to work with Children in a residential setting.

In September 2020, our first 2- bed Residential Children’s Home was registered by Ofsted and we now aim to open further homes in the future.

TH Homely Care Services continues to run both the Domiciliary Care and the Residential Children Homes (TH Residential Service) respectively.

Ethos

The Homeland provides compassionate quality care for children that is reliable and delivered by a professional, experienced and dedicated team. Every child’s care needs are different and therefore every care package is unique. The Homeland aim to provide the flexibility of their care arrangements which are designed around the individual requirements of the child and family. From the outset a well-trained staff will be appointed as the child’s key worker who will work with the child to ascertain their wishes. Following this, if required, the child’s care plan will be updated, and risk assessment will be carried out and other professionals involved in the child’s placement and families will be informed should need be.
